Walmart to the rescue.
If you live in the greater Orlando/Kissimmee area, your Halloween trick-or-treat adventure plans may not be completely ruined this season.
Three Walmart locations in the 407 are offering free drive-thru trick-or-treat Halloween events, and everyone’s invited.
“For customers seeking less traditional Halloween haunts this year, Walmart is transforming more than 100 of its store parking lots into ‘spooky street’ trick-or-treat adventures that are contact-free and socially distanced,” per an official news release from Walmart.
Luckily, three of those locations will be taking part in the country-wide event here in Central Florida. The Walmart locations taking part in the “spooky” event are listed below:
Orlando Walmart Supercenter – Friday, Oct. 30 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
11930 Narcoossee Road, Orlando, FL, 32817
Orlando Walmart Supercenter – Saturday, Oct. 31 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
11250 E Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL, 32817
Orlando Walmart Supercenter – Thursday, Oct. 29 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
8990 Turkey Lake Road, Orlando, FL, 32819
If you were hesitant about having your kids walk from house-to-house this spooky season, this provides a safe alternative that allows the whole family to participate. Now it’s as easy as hopping into your car and grabbing this year’s treats on-the-go.
Participants are invited to dress up to enjoy the benefits of the season’s traditional events.
In other words… let the candy sugar-rush continue!
