ORLANDO, Fla. — Florida residents looking to head to Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary can now take advantage of a new weekday ticket deal.

Starting Tuesday, Florida residents can buy Weekday Magic Tickets to Disney World. A two-day ticket will cost $149 plus tax. Residents can also buy a three-day ticket for $179 plus tax or a four-day ticket for $199 plus tax.

The Weekday Magic Tickets will be available for use Monday through Friday only and must be used between Jan. 11 and April 7, 2022. There are blackout dates from March 14 through March 18, likely because of spring break.

“With this great ticket offer, you can experience the EARidescent enchantment of The World’s Most Magical Celebration, a once-in-a-lifetime event brimming with fun festivities, shimmering decor, and more,” Disney said on its website.

The 18-month 50th-anniversary special event features new rides, entertainment, and fireworks at Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and resort hotels.

The Weekday Magic Tickets will get Florida residents admission to one theme park per day. Tickets can be used on either consecutive or non-consecutive days, but park reservations are still required through Disney’s Park Pass system.

The tickets can be upgraded to include the Genie+ paid ride-reservation service that allows you to avoid the regular standby line on the resort’s most popular rides for only $15 more. You can also choose to upgrade to a park hopper ticket to visit more than one park a day for $35 more per ticket. Sports and water park options are also available.

Those who purchase a Weekday Magic Ticket will be required to show proof of Florida residency at the park entrance.

Although the Weekday Magic Tickets must be used by April 7, the price paid for an unused ticket after the expiration date can be applied to the purchase of a new ticket with an equal or higher value.

All tickets and options purchased are nontransferable and nonrefundable and exclude any activities or events that are separately priced.

This offer comes as Epcot’s annual International Festival of the Arts is set to kick off. The festival runs from Jan. 14 through Feb. 21 and features a slew of tasty and visually stunning dishes.

According to the company, there will be “15 Food Studios featuring some returning favorites and soon-to-be hits.” Guests can also participate in the “Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine” by purchasing a “Festival Passport.”

“As you travel throughout the Festival, collect stamps by purchasing five of these decadent dishes to redeem a special prize from Deco Delights to enjoy,” the blog reads.

You can find more information and purchase Weekday Magic Tickets on Disney’s website.
