The secret is out! Navarre, Florida’s population is exploding because it’s an amazing place to live according to experts.

Navarre snagged a spot on the 2021-2022 Best Place to Live in the United States list by Money, coming in hot at No. 34. It was the only Florida community to make it onto the list. To curate the list, Money studied thousands of different places in the U.S. with a strong emphasis on affordability, top-notch schools, and job opportunities.

Navarre Beach is a compact beach community located just east of Pensacola, Florida, at the far northwestern tip of the Sunshine State. The beautiful community glistens with twelve miles of pristine white shoreline. This beach spot offers peace and simplicity, and its beaches are named among the best in the nation year after year.

“Don’t let its prime role in Jaws 2 scare you,” Money wrote in its release Tuesday. “Though Navarre’s beaches were the backdrop for the 1978 film, it’s not all sharks and scares here. In fact, the town is actually a safe harbor for many of the ocean’s most beloved creatures.”

The magazine pointed out some of the community’s biggest assets. These include the Navarre Beach Marine Sanctuary and the Sea Turtle Conservation Center, home to Sweet Pea, the center’s rehabilitated, the Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge, and the three-flippered ambassador.

Of course, there are also countless stunning beaches that offer swimming to paddle boarding, kayaking, snorkeling, and jet skiing. Navarre is also home to the state’s largest fishing pier, which has a 1,500-foot span.

While there are plenty of things to do in Navarre, its cost of living is what puts it over the top compared to other places in the U.S.

“For those looking to move to Navarre, the conditions are prime,” according to Money. Home prices sit around $281,000 — well below the $360,000 the Money list averages — and job opportunities are expected to surge 19% by 2025.

Relaxation is the main attraction in Navarre. Visitors continue to cross the Navarre Bridge, transcending paradise time and time again.
