6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 Engine

The Chevy Silverado Crew Cab is one of the few vehicles that share the same engine as the renowned Corvette Stingray C8. However, the pickup’s engine is unique due to the fact that while the sports car has the Active Fuel Management system, which turns off specific cylinders, the Silverado has Dynamic Fuel Management tech, which will only turn off the cylinder when it isn’t needed. The High Country has a towing capability that gets up to 9,200 pounds when geared with the 6.2-liter V8.

High Country Deluxe Package

The Deluxe feature comes with all the bells and whistles, including forward collision alert, automatic emergency braking, lane-keep assist with lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, front pedestrian braking, Safety Alert Seat, a power sunroof, all-weather floor liners, and 22-inch all-season tires.

Technology and Driver Alert II Packages

The Technology package is full of electronics made to enhance the overall driving experience. Gadgets like a multi-colored 15-inch head-up display (HUD), HD Surround Vision system with a Rearview Camera Mirror, and a bed-view camera make the drive worthwhile. In the Safety Package II, several additional features are found. These include forward collision alert, lane-keep assist with lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, front pedestrian braking, following distance indicator, adaptive cruise control, safety alert seat, and Intellibeam automatic headlights.

Tow and Cargo

Chevy’s available Max Trailering Package maxes out the Silverado’s towing capabilities. This includes automatic locking rear differential, Advanced Trailering Package, trailer brake controller, handling/trailering suspension package, and even more!

Multi-Flex Tailgate

Last but not least, the automaker shows its Multi-Flex Tailgate by offering 6-way adaptability with bed extensions, steps, cargo steps, and others. The main tailgate comes with a load stop which helps to prevent cargo from sliding out. It is lowered from a button within the cab or on the key fob. This easy function makes way for owners to reach closer in the bed. An inner gate load stop and full-width steed may be opened.
