The Florida Panthers are about to embark on one of hockey’s most illustrious traditions: the Stanley Cup tour, following their second straight NHL championship.

Each member of the victorious team has the opportunity to hold the coveted trophy for a day (or occasionally longer) after winning the title. And what tales it might tell…

Over its 132-year history, the Cup has hosted innumerable adult beverages and traveled to a variety of intriguing locations as participants continue to come up with inventive methods to celebrate.

After winning Game 6 against the Edmonton Oilers 5-1, the Panthers wasted no time in flashing off the Cup to fans at the legendary Elbo Room early on a Wednesday morning in Fort Lauderdale Beach.

Where will we next see the Cup?

It will undoubtedly emerge at the victory parade for the Panthers. According to the NHL, it will take place on Sunday, June 22. As previous year, it will begin at noon and travel down Fort Lauderdale Beach on state road A1A.

After that, nobody knows where the Cup will be. Keep an eye out on Florida Insider.
