Check the freezers! The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced Friday that a frozen food company with headquarters in Plantation, Florida, has issued a recall for certain frozen meat and poultry items.

Since they were not USDA-inspected before being sent to merchants in the state and sold on Instagram, WOW Frozen Food LLC has recalled its frozen meat and poultry items.

The USDA mark of the inspection was missing from many different frozen sfihas beef and poultry products, according to the FSIS, which discovered this during a normal inspection. The FSIS discovered after additional examination that the goods were not created in an FSIS establishment under its inspection.

Since October 2022, frozen foods have been produced on several occasions. The following goods are being recalled:

  • 260-g. pouch bag containing 5 pieces of “WOW SFIHAS CALABRESA Brazilian Kielbasa.”
  • 260-g. pouch bag containing 5 pieces of “WOW SFIHAS QUEIJO BACON Cheese with Bacon.”
  • 260-g. pouch bag containing 5 pieces of “WOW SFIHAS FRANGO CATUPIRY Cream Cheese Chicken.”
  • 260-g. pouch bag containing 5 pieces of “WOW SFIHAS CARNE Beef.”

No verifiable complaints of negative effects linked to the intake of these goods have been made. Anyone worried about a reaction should speak to a medical professional.
