The opening of a fourth Buc-ee’s in Florida is getting closer to happening.

According to county documents, the gas station business submitted designs for its new St. Lucie County outlet on Tuesday.

The gas station will be built “at the southeast corner of Indrio Road and Interstate 95 to take advantage of a prime location in North St. Lucie County,” according to the proposal.

Two committees will examine the designs before county commissioners can comment. The procedure might take months, as NBC station WPTV was informed by a St. Lucie County spokeswoman.

The new restaurant will be the fourth Buc-ee’s to operate in Florida if county officials give them approval. The current “Beaver Nuggets” locations are in St. Augustine and Daytona Beach, for those who need to satisfy their craving.

It was decided to allow a third facility in northern Marion County along I-75. When it opens next year, the firm claims it will be the largest Buc-ee’s store in the world with over 100 gas pumps.
