Osceola County – Drivers of Tesla vehicles will soon have the option to pause and recharge when traveling from Central Florida to South Florida. Tesla intends to construct a sizable supercharger facility in Osceola County, close to the Florida Turnpike.
It is anticipated to be the biggest location on Earth.
An engineering firm called GPD group published a rendering of the proposal. At Yeehaw Junction exit 193, or exit 193, the company plans to construct 200 booths.
“That just shows you the number of (electric vehicles) that are going to be around, that people are driving,” adds Shav, who drives a Tesla.
Along the turnpike, there are now just seven supercharging plazas with 64 charging stations. Not just Tesla owners would gain from these additional slots.
The company has begun providing “Supercharger access” to Rivian and Ford, among other E-V companies.
Chris Nelson, a Tesla driver, stated, “I think it’s showing the world that we are taking the next step forward with new vehicles.”
