As the months pass and the end of the year draws near, numerous publications and organizations begin compiling their assessments and reviews to choose who will make it on their “Best of” lists. Every buyer looks for awards, recognition, and lists when shopping for a new car. Reputable sources like Kelley Blue Book, J.D. Power, and Newsweek are some of the top suggestions for finding the greatest car on the market. (for specific segments).
Jeep won “Best SUV Lineup” in Newsweek’s recently concluded annual 2022 Autos Awards competition. The prize was given to Jeep for the second time in 2022; the first time was in 2021 when the Jeep Grand Cherokee L was the talk of the town. The Wagoneer models are the main highlights this year.

Over the course of more than 80 years, Jeep has built a solid reputation for producing off-road SUVs with high towing capacity, consumer-friendly entertainment and comfort features, and, with the Grand Cherokee L, three rows of seating for up to eight people (including the driver). The brand-new 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee, 2022 Wagoneer, and 2022 Grand Wagoneer won top awards in their respective car categories at this year’s 2022 Autos Awards. This year’s Best Two-Row SUV winner was the 2022 Grand Cherokee, thanks to its luxurious cabin and unmatched capabilities. The 2022 Wagoneer features room for up to eight people and best-in-class towing capacity, matching the Grand Cherokee L. As a result, the new model won the Best Premium SUV prize, marking Jeep’s debut in the luxury vehicle market. With its first-rate passenger experience and cutting-edge technology, the larger of the two, the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer, also elevates Jeep into the luxury segment and won the Best Full-Size SUV accolades. For the second year in a row, these three vehicles and their honors collectively gave Jeep the title of “Best SUV Lineup.”
