Orlando’s Super Nintendo World theme park is almost ready for guests. The Mario-friendly attraction will debut on May 22, 2025, according to a recent announcement from Universal Orlando Resort. You have more than half a year to locate the ideal Goomba outfit for opening day.

The Orlando park joins existing Nintendo theme parks in Japan and Los Angeles, making it the third Nintendo theme park globally. You should anticipate a sizable interactive area to explore, unique themed attractions, and, of course, a variety of Nintendo-adjacent restaurants and shopping options if the layout is similar to that of the other two parks. A cool Donkey Kong Country area was recently added to the original Japanese park, and earlier this year, Nintendo announced that it will also be coming to Orlando.

This is a component of Universal Epic Universe, a broader extension of Universal Resort Orlando. There are five locations to investigate. In addition to the already-existing Harry Potter attraction, this extension will house the previously mentioned Super Nintendo World.

A theme park based on the Dark Universe and How to Train Your Dragon franchises will both be located in the neighborhood. Given that the Dark Universe franchise peaked with a few mediocre horror movies in the 2010s, I find that last one to be somewhat strange. Following the 2017 crash and fire of The Mummy, the majority of the planned movies in this shared cinematic world were abandoned.

Celestial Park comes last. This appears to be a typical theme park with a hint of science fiction. There are roller coasters with a space theme and similar attractions.
