Every year, people from all over Florida visit the post office in Christmas, Florida, to have Santa Claus, reindeer, and Christmas trees stamped on their holiday mail at a site suitable for the season.

In case you were unaware, Christmas is a town in the larger Orlando-Kissimmee metropolitan region with roughly 1,600 residents. It is located approximately halfway between Kennedy Space Center and downtown Orlando.

Naturally, the town is well-known for its festive spirit. Comet Street and Blitzen Avenue are only two examples of the festive names given to the streets.

Here’s when the renowned post office closes on Christmas card mailings.

You can wait until the week before Christmas to ship any packages and have them arrive in time for the holiday if you’re shipping priority mail.

The latest date that a parcel can be sent to arrive on Christmas is December 21st; however, this date only applies if you mail your package within the contiguous United States using Priority Mail Express service.
