Not just in Plant City but throughout the entire state of Florida, the Florida Strawberry Festival is one of the most anticipated occasions of the year. Live music, strawberry-themed cuisine, entertaining carnival rides, and games take place over multiple days. The event appears to have been larger than ever in 2024. The Strawberry Festival attracted 634,779 visitors this year, according to organizers.

“It was a pleasure to have you as our guest, and we value your support of the Plant City community, our vendors, the strawberry business, and our livestock exhibitors. We’ll see you in 2025, from February 27 to March 9!” posted Florida Strawberry Festival administrators to Instagram.

Staff members and organizers were ready for the spike in tourists this season.

Prior to the 2024 celebrations, Florida Strawberry Festival President Kyle Robinson declared, “The sky is the limit. This summer, our maintenance team, board of directors, and employees have been working extremely hard to plan and prepare an “out of this world” experience for each and every one of our guests. We are excited to have guests from all over the world at BerryFest24!”

A period of American history when fairs and festivals united communities through the enjoyment of their crops is symbolized by the Florida Strawberry Festival. The perpetuation of this legacy has contributed to its yearly rise in popularity. The Festival’s primary goal is to maintain and improve the agricultural heritage and cultural significance of the Florida strawberry.

All we have to do now is wait until 2025 for the fun to start over. The Strawberry Hut is a must-see if you decide to visit Plant City.
