The launch date for Brightline’s high-speed rail service between Orlando and South Florida has been announced.
Beginning next Friday, Sept. 22, travelers will be able to take the Brightline from Orlando to Miami.
Channel 9 has kept up with every Brightline evolution, from development to testing, and it all leads to this. Although tickets have been available for months, the start date has now been made official.
According to Brightline authorities, this will be America’s only contemporary, environmentally friendly intercity rail.
Leather seats, free Starlink Wi-Fi, and several power and USB ports are all standard on its trains.
Additionally, Brightline will sell a variety of foods and drinks.
The unveiling on Wednesday does encounter some difficulties, though.
Prior to the Labor Day holiday, Brightline originally intended to begin operations on September 1.
Then, in late August, it declared that it would want more time to plan out its program in order to finish the certification and testing process.
Now, according to Brightline officials, everything is ready to go.
“Opening Orlando fulfills our ultimate business model. We have seen incredible enthusiasm from the business and tourism industries eager to travel between Central and South Florida,” shared Patrick Goddard, president of Brightline. “As we start service to Orlando for peak holiday seasons, I encourage everyone to check calendars, make plans, visit our website or app, and reserve a seat now.”
Orlando City Soccer supporters will understand the significance of the commencement date on Sept. 22.
Two days remain till Lionel Messi and the Inter Miami are scheduled to visit.
Brightline wants to profit from the occurrence.
