Cheers to MAR10 Day! What’s coming to Epic Universe’s Super Nintendo World

Nintendo’s famed plumber is celebrated annually on March 10th, or “MAR10” when the date is shortened. Soon, visitors to Universal Orlando will be able to power up to play with Mario and other characters at Universal Epic Universe.

Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge and Donkey Kong Country are among the attractions at Super Nintendo World, the third Nintendo-themed park site that opens on May 22.

Visitors will be greeted by a charming view of a lively panorama of Mount Beanpole and Bowser’s Castle as soon as they pass through Princess Peach’s castle and via the warp pipe portal.

Here is a summary of what we can expect from Universal Orlando’s fourth theme park.

Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge in Super Mario Land

In this innovative virtual reality experience, which combines augmented reality, projection mapping technology, and ornate surroundings to bring the joy of the Mario Kart video game series to life in an engaging ride-through, you may join Team Mario and compete against Team Bowser for the Golden Cup.

Yoshi’s Adventure

On a family-friendly journey, one of the most well-known Super Nintendo characters receives his name.

As they accompany Yoshi and explore the Mushroom Kingdom landscapes in pursuit of luminous eggs, visitors of all ages will be treated to breath-taking sights of Super Mario Land. They will also come across other well-known characters during Yoshi’s Adventure.

The Epic Universe Bowser’s Fireball Challenge (Universal Orlando Resort)

Mario and Luigi-themed burgers, Super Mushroom Soup, Piranha Plant Caprese, Fire Flower Spaghetti and Meatballs, and many other delectable foods inspired by the world of Super Mario and its characters are available to patrons at Toadstool Cafe.

Through virtual windows, diners will also be able to see a number of Toads preparing delectable dishes.

Yoshi’s Snack Island and Turbo Boost Treats: These walk-up dining establishments also serve delectable snacks, treats, and drinks.

1. UP Factory and Mario Motors: Inside these retail establishments, visitors can purchase mementos, clothing, toys, and other items based on their favorite Super Mario characters and adventures.

Meet-and-greets: You can meet and converse with the well-known characters you select to play as in the game. For example, Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and Toad can be found in different parts of Super Mario Land.

Mine-Cart Madness

On this unique family coaster, visitors will climb into a mining cart and speed through the jungle to assist Donkey Kong and Diddy Kong in defending the prized golden banana.

With the help of an unparalleled ride system, cutting-edge technology, and a distinctive coaster design, Mine-Cart Madness will take visitors on an exhilarating journey where they can witness the amazing stunts that Donkey Kong and the mine carts do in video games. These stunts include being blasted out of a barrel, appearing to jump over gaps as they speed along a rickety track, and much more.

Donkey Kong County offers additional Super Nintendo meet-and-greet possibilities, including a chance to see Rambi the rhinoceros and DK in his Treehouse.

Visitors can also visit The Bubbly Barrel for a sweet treat and Funky’s Fly ‘n’ Buy for all your jungle necessities.

Power-Up Bands

With Power-Up Bands, visitors can engage in interactive gaming.

With the use of these wearable, cutting-edge wristbands, visitors may earn digital keys to access a unique confrontation with Bowser Jr., gather digital coins by playing interactive games and collecting blocks, and uncover other hidden surprises. In order to see their position in relation to other visitors, guests can also view checkpoint screens.

With more than 50 attractions, Universal’s fourth theme park will open on May 22 on 750 acres of land.

The Ministry of Magic in Harry Potter’s Wizarding World:

Combining the famous British Ministry of Magic with the wizarding Paris of the 1920s from the “Fantastic Beasts” movies, it transports visitors to a new era of the wizarding world.

Super Nintendo World:

An interactive game experience with well-known characters like Donkey Kong, Princess Peach, Mario, and Luigi.

Dark Universe

A world of mystery and myth, where visitors can explore a dark world home to creatures like Dracula and the Wolfman and come across Dr. Victoria Frankenstein’s experiments.

How to Train Your Dragon Isle of Berk:

Explore an island where fire-breathing dragons and Vikings coexist peacefully.

Celestial Park:

An incredible world of excitement and discovery is created by the combination of thrilling attractions, entertainment, dining, shopping, and the Universal Helios Grand Hotel.
