There might be a new location in southwest Florida where you can acquire your favorite $5 or less treats. According to reports, Buc-ee’s, the greatest tourism destination in the South, is considering opening a new facility in the Sunshine State.
The popular Beaver Nugget-and-jerky vendors (and gas station) are still expanding around the South, even though they recently revealed the launch date of a new location on the Gulf Coast.
Buc-ee’s may be considering opening a location on Interstate 75 between Sarasota and Fort Myers, close to Port Charlotte, Florida, according to Gulfshore Business. With locations already in Daytona Beach and Saint Augustine as well as one now under development in Ocala that should open by the end of the year, the enormous travel hub would be the fourth Buc-ee’s outlet in Florida.
Locals might not be huge fans of Buc-ee’s, but tourists could adore it for its endless gas pumps, spotless restrooms, and amazing food selection. Some people weren’t quite welcoming when it was announced that Buc-ee’s was considering a new location in Florida, according to the Houston Chronicle. “Please refrain from harming our community in this way. “It will be a catastrophe,” a local told Fort Myers news station WINK-TV.
However, Kolache supporters traveling to the Gulf Coast of Florida shouldn’t get too thrilled just yet. According to the Chronicle, the Lone Star state’s favorite gas station has not officially announced the new location, even though the community board has made certain zoning adjustments and clearances to allow Buc-ee’s if they decide to locate there. For the time being, you’ll have to get your bacon grease and Dr Pepper Icees somewhere else.
