Recently, a Florida beach with white quartz sand was named America’s best beach.
Fans of Siesta Key’s stunning Siesta Beach won’t be shocked to hear that the well-known Gulf resort recently topped Tripadvisor’s 2025 Best of the Best Beaches List in the United States. Additionally, the Florida haven ranked fourth on Tripadvisor’s list of the world’s best beaches for 2025.
The top beaches on these esteemed rankings are those that actual tourists have visited and posted reviews and advice about on Tripadvisor throughout the past 12 months.
“Beach-loving travelers flock to Siesta Key for many reasons including the powdery white-quartz sand, clear shallow waters, and family-friendly atmosphere,” according to a press statement. “Lifeguards are on duty at the beach, and the laid-back town includes cafés and oyster bars close by that are accessible by foot or bicycle. Kayaking tours allow visitors to see animals such as manatees and dolphins, and the soft sand beach offers stunning sunset views.
Siesta Beach, which is situated on an eight-mile barrier island off the coast of Sarasota, is known for its crystal-clear waters, fine sand, seashells, and an abundance of beachside lodging options. Tripadvisor states that April through May or September through October are the ideal times to go. In comparison to the busiest summer months, these windows offer excellent weather, less people, and “more moderate” temperatures.
With two villages and a trolley that provides free rides to the beach and other locations, Siesta Key offers a welcoming, small-town atmosphere in addition to a beach that could be mistaken for the Caribbean.
It sounds like the stuff of dreams.
