Do you want to up your putt-putt game?

According to the company, Daytona Beach is one of 13 locations planned for a PopStroke golf complex, which is partially owned by Tiger Woods. The location has yet to be determined, but they are aiming for next year.

This rapidly expanding family golf entertainment chain begins with the fun game of mini-golf. There’s also a full-service restaurant, craft kitchens, outdoor dining areas, outdoor games, an ice cream parlor, and a self-contained playground next to a sports bar so you can keep an eye on the kids while watching the game.

The venue’s crown jewels, however, are the two posh, curated putting courses developed by Woods and his TGR Design team, complete with rolling greens and scaled-down sandtraps to bring the Masters to your family excursion. Small green jackets are not included.

Is Tiger Woods the owner of PopStroke?

He’s a partner. Woods was recruited as a co-owner after the first PopStroke facility opened in Port St. Lucie in 2019. The Port St. Lucie course was redesigned by Woods’ TGR Design team, who also designed all of the new ones.

“PopStroke continues to use golf to bring families and friends together in a fun, welcoming environment,” Woods explained. “I am very excited to see PopStroke expanding into these new cities.”

Who is PopStroke’s CEO?

Greg Bartoli, a former Wall Street banker, started the Jupiter-based company in 2017.

What exactly is PopStroke? Is it similar to TopGolf?

TopGolf provides a dining, drinking, and golf experience, although it focuses more on golfers and casual players. It’s a full-swing experience with a huge driving range and plenty of mini-games to keep even non-golfers entertained. TopGolf is a place to go with your friends, spouse, or on a date (if they’re into it).

PopStroke takes mini-golf to a whole new level. The Woods-designed course takes you away from your childhood’s conventional wood-framed, green-carpeted holes and places you on synthetic turf with genuine holes, sand bunkers, and simulated rough areas. PopStroke is perfect for family night. Or day.

To keep things interesting, both places rely heavily on technology. Each ball in TopGolf is electronically tracked, allowing you, your friends, and even a trainer, if desired, to watch how you’re doing on enormous screens in real-time. PopStroke features an app that allows you to keep track of the group score, order food and drinks to be brought to you wherever on the course, and much more.

And they don’t skimp on the equipment. You can bring your own clubs or TopGolf will provide you with the most recent Callaway golf clubs. (Top Golf was originally an investor before being purchased by Calloway in 2020.) PopStroke rents TaylorMade putters and gives you a special edition TaylorMade golf ball to use and then retain as a keepsake.

How many PopStroke locations are there in Florida?

The first one took place in Port St. Lucie. The company has since expanded to Sarasota, Fort Myers, Orlando, and Tampa/Wesley Chapel. PopStrokes may also be found in Glendale, Arizona, and Houston/Katy, Texas. Three more are being built in Scottsdale, Delray Beach, and Tuscaloosa, with the Las Vegas facility set to open in May, according to a press statement. All of them are set to open this year.

More locations have been confirmed for 2024, including Daytona Beach, Wellington, Orlando, and West Palm Beach. PopStrokes will be held in Nashville, San Antonio, Myrtle Beach, North Dallas, and College Station next year.

“We’re seeing a lot of consumer interest in bringing our immersive experience to new cities.” PopStroke was founded to bring individuals of all ages and ability levels together through the game of golf. “We are excited to broaden our reach and share the PopStroke experience with new guests,” added Bartoli.
