There are plenty of things to do in Florida that don’t require you to be outside all day at the beach. Maybe you just don’t want to be in the sun. Maybe you’re looking for some indoor entertainment while you’re in town. This indoor go-kart track is just what the doctor ordered. Start your engines (after you fasten your seatbelt). This is going to be a bumpy ride.
Experience Andretti Indoor Karting & Games, Florida’s premier place to go go-karting, with the largest go-kart track in the state. Named after world-famous Italian-American racing driver Mario Andretti, you’ll be getting the experience of a lifetime as soon as you set foot inside. These karts don’t mess around either when it comes to speed—you have Junior Karts which get up to 15 m.p.h. and Adult Karts which go up to 35 m.p.h. The go-karts themselves are powerful, ergonomic, safe and environment-friendly. They allow the driver to get to the finish line in record time.
Andretti’s offers a real thrilling experience for its visitors. This facility features the best model of electric karts in the industry, the SODI RTX, which allows drivers to go faster.
Racers must be 15+ or 18+ and older and have a state-issued license to drive go-karts. The race lasts for seven minutes and takes place on Track 2 or Track 3.
Track 2 is a multi-level track with 25 feet of elevation changes and a scenic ‘bumped-out’ turn with a view of Universal Blvd. Track 3 is a fast road course-style track with elevation changes, six banked turns and long straightaways.
Andretti features the Sodi LRX electric karts for young drivers. It gives the little ones the excitement they do not get to experience anywhere else. The indoor kart park also features simulators, arcade games, laser tag, extreme adventure such as the Sky Trail Ropes Course. This is the first one in Florida to feature a unique curved zip line.
This indoor track makes for a high-speed adventure unlike anything seen or done in Florida or the world, as it has the most elevation changes and bank turns in the state along with the longest track.
Educational classes called “race kamps” are available at Andretti’s Indoor Karting & Games, where kids can spend a week understanding the proper racing techniques and tools to graduate from the Junior track to the Adult’s road course.
Safety is important and a huge priority, so make sure to pay attention to the 10-minute safety video before driving.
Not to worry, though. These tracks are extra safe with the barriers that have been designed to work together with the electric karts, sliding freely if they come in contact, reducing damage and eliminating roll over.
In fact, the Sodi electric karts available here have been designed to be one of the safest go-karts you could ever drive.
Even on a rainy Florida day, the race tracks at Andretti Indoor Karting & Games will give you the entertainment you crave. To learn more, visit Andretti Indoor Karting & Games.
