As they serve up some South Florida favorites, two Florida Panthers Stanley Cup champions are interacting closely with fans.
During a joyous “shift” at Raising Cane’s in Tamarac, located at 5600 N. University Drive, only 15 minutes from Amerant Bank Arena, right wing Sam Reinhart traded in his helmet for a headset while serving fans.
During his “shift,” Reinhart works in the kitchen and serves Box Combos from the drive-thru and front counter.
He will be on duty until 11 a.m.
Fans will have a delightful reason to rejoice when teammate Brad Marchand exchanges his hockey equipment for a Dairy Queen suit at 11 a.m. Brad will be serving complimentary Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Blizzards, his favorite, at the Dairy Queen on Hiatus Road in Sunrise. It will be christened “The Brad Blizzard” for the day in his honor.
The squad went unbeaten following each pre-game DQ visit, which Marchand and his teammates developed a habit of doing before important games.
