Sunrise, Florida – Florida Panthers General Manager and President of Hockey Operations Bill Zito announced that the team has reached an agreement with forward Anton Lundmark on a one-year, entry-level contract that will start in the 2025–2026 campaign.
“Anton is a strong forward who has improved as he has risen through Sweden’s professional hockey ranks,” Zito added. “We anticipate that he will continue to grow within our company.”
The 23-year-old Anton Lundmark has made 49 appearances for Timra IK of the Swedish Hockey League (SHL) so far this season, scoring nine points (5-4-9). In 2024–25, he skated with Timra IK in four SHL playoff games.
In two seasons with Tingsryds AIF (2022–23 to 2023–24) of HockeyAllsvenskan, Sweden’s second-highest league, the 6-foot-4, 192-pound native of Sarestad, Sweden, scored 25 points (7-18–25) in 54 games. Additionally, he played for HockeyEttan’s Skovde IK (2020–21 to 2022-23) and Borlange HF (2020–21) for three seasons.
Before turning pro, Lundmark played for Sweden’s J20 SuperElit league’s Leksands IF J20, scoring six points (2-4-6) in 23 games.
