In Florida, there are more than 15 million licensed drivers, however, trying to navigate the state with so many people can be hazardous at times.

The most hazardous days and hours to drive were identified by a law firm in South Florida using data from the Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles collected between 2017 and 2021.

It seems that you should avoid traveling during later hours, specifically in the middle of the night.

The study by the Schiller Kessler Group identified 2 a.m. as the most hazardous time, noting that 693 crash victims passed away as a result of their wounds.

The second and third worst times to drive were both in the early morning, at 3 and 4 a.m.

8 a.m. is when it is safest to drive in Florida, with three o’clock in the afternoon coming in second.

Shockingly, the most dangerous day to drive in Florida are Sundays.

Between 2017 and 2021, more than 2,000 of all individuals hurt in traffic accidents died as a result of their injuries on any given Sunday.

The second-worst day of the week was Saturday.

Wednesday was the week’s most secure day for driving.

There were 2,036 fatal collisions in the state between 2017 and 2021.

A deadly crash is more than five times more likely to occur in the early hours compared to rush hour, despite the fact that the roads may be clearer at that time.

Drivers should always remain aware of their surroundings while operating a vehicle.
