People are impressed by the new photographs of the third-generation 2024 Volkswagen Tiguan that have gone viral online. In Ljubljana, Slovenia, where it was sighted driving about, photographers got some great photos of the roomy competitor. The new model’s design was also clearly seen in spy images because it wasn’t covered in any camouflage. Fascinatingly, a Mercedes GLE camera car circled the Tiguan to capture some images of it as well.
The Tiguan idea that was photographed is a posh version of the R-Line model. The VW SUV has a modern appearance, but it still has a familiar, slightly safe appearance because it is a dependable, popular small crossover. Despite the poor video quality, the spy pictures show a sharp-looking Tiguan. The Tiguan was one of the top-selling SUVs in Europe in the first half of 2023, according to market research firm Dataforce. The German manufacturer also sold more than 88,000 vehicles at that time, far higher than it did in the corresponding period of 2022. The Volkswagen SUV even outsold the Volkswagen Golf, which was formerly one of the most well-liked automobiles in Europe.
The next Tiguan receives a few cosmetic improvements, but nothing too significant that would alienate its devoted followers who are searching for a solid C-segment crossover. The VW SUV will be slightly wider, slightly longer, and slightly taller than it was before. Additionally, the Tiguan’s interior gains additional capacity, giving the driver and front passenger more headroom as well as extra space for passengers in the back.
Because the carmaker is dropping the three-row model for the European market, the VW SUV will only have five seats. With seven seats, the second-generation Tayron will return to Europe. The Tiguan will continue to be sold in the United States under that name, but it will be a larger crossover with two rows of seats and a coupe-like appearance.
The new Tiguan will be constructed on a chassis that supports plug-in hybrid, diesel, and cleaner fuel engines. The plug-in hybrids have an electric range of up to 75 miles and support both AC and DC charging. The VW SUV will also be available with front-wheel and all-wheel drive. Because the ID.4 manufacturer aims to produce an all-electric Tiguan by 2033, the SUV may be the final one the German automaker sells in Europe with conventional engines. So check out the new Tiguan if you’re craving a unique piece of history.
