Ram Truck seems to be pumping out awards left and right and has been a premier choice in the truck category for the past few years.
Now adding to their already elite lineup of vehicles, Ram welcomed a new, more fuel-efficient truck to the brand’s lineup, the all-new Ram 1500 Tradesman HFE EcoDiesel. Ram currently produces the most fuel-efficient 4x4s and the fastest and most powerful pickup in its class, but that isn’t enough. The 1500 HFE EcoDiesel brings new meaning to fuel efficiency as the HFE stands for “High Fuel Efficiency.” The Ram pickup puts up an astounding city mileage rating of 23 mpg and 33 mpg on the highway—something you would likely expect from a sedan or SUV, not a pickup.
“Ram is committed to innovation and powertrain leadership, and as the no-compromise benchmark for efficiency and performance, we continue to listen to customer input by offering unsurpassed fuel economy,” said Mike Koval Jr., Ram Brand Chief Executive Officer. “The Ram 1500 is America’s most powerful half-ton pickup with 480 lb-ft of torque and the most capable light-duty diesel with towing capability up to 12,560 pounds, and delivers up to 1,000 miles of range on a single tank of fuel.”
Expected to go on sale in the second quarter of 2021, the 2021 Ram 1500 HFE EcoDiesel comes standard as a four-door crew cab model with 20-inch aluminum wheels and a 5-ft. 7-in. truck bed. The HFE pickup also comes with a black grille and bumper combo, driver and passenger running step boards, and a tonneau cover. Only available in Diamond Black Crystal or Bright White Clear, the all-new truck comes with cloth bucket seats and starts at an impressive MSRP of $42,240 (plus a $1,695 destination fee).
Ram 1500 Lineup
The 2021 Ram 1500 is the truck to beat in its class thanks to its incredible technology, convenience, efficiency, durability, and overall performance benchmarks with unique features. One would argue that the major highlight of the 1500 pickup is the interior cabin and enormous 12-inch infotainment touchscreen display with Uconnect 4C system. A leader in the pickup class for technology, Ram’s entertainment center features a 360-degree camera display, exclusive SiriusXM content with 360L, personalized Pandora radio stations, and split-screen capabilities. The Ram 1500 holds its own in regards to towing capability and has up to 2,300 pounds of payload and 12,750 pounds of towing capability.
2021 Ram 1500 TRX
The first in the light-duty pickup segment to include the latest Know & Go mobile app, the 2021 Ram 1500 TRX offers buyers an in-depth experience to help drivers learn more about their vehicles. Standard on the powerful Hellcat-powered, off-road pickup come the following active security and safety features:
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Blind-Spot Monitoring
- Forward Collision Alert
- Ready Alert Braking
- An exclusive link-coil rear suspension system with optional Active-level four-corner air suspension makes for class-leading riding and handling in the Ram 1500 TRX.
Industry experts expect the 1500 Tradesman HFE to be a popular choice among truck enthusiasts when it is officially released later this spring due to its enticing fuel efficiency rating and price point numbers.
