With the recent release of the Dodge Charger Daytona SRT battery-electric vehicle (BEV), muscle car manufacturer Dodge may be moving toward electric vehicles, but the Street & Racing Technology (SRT) performance is not going away. One important factor in that is that, in addition to Dodge’s continued support of SRT, Mopar, a Stellantis subsidiary, continues to supply aftermarket parts and accessories to consumers, enabling them to add serious performance to their next-generation cars. The Daytona SRT BEV’s available powertrain options are already expanded with the Dodge Direct Connection package. The auto parts store is prepared to demonstrate the capabilities of a Stellantis model, always in the background working on concepts such as the Limited-edition Mopar ’23 Dodge Challenger and Dodge Charger Models, or the Easter Jeep Safari Concepts by Mopar. Mopar will release a specially customized, limited-edition Mopar ’24 Jeep® Gladiator on the market this year (2024).
Mopar, a play on the words “motor” and “parts,” was created to allow customers to further customize their cars. with performance catalogs specifically for Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram Trucks, and even the 300 back in the day. With the introduction of the Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) catalog in recent years, Mopar has continued to grow, periodically releasing new parts. Prior to the merger, Mopar was a division of Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA); it is currently a division of Stellantis. Although we’re happy the firm has remained with FCA vehicles like Dodge and Jeep thus far, that merely expands the options to even more manufacturers to consider.
Based on the new Jeep Gladiator Rubicon trim, the Mopar ’24 Gladiator has a unique topographical Rubicon trail graphics on the bonnet, bed sides, and tailgate, as well as a threatening black clear-coat appearance. Jeep is not only an off-road fighter; it is also renowned for its speed. The Jeep Performance Parts (JPP) emblem is accentuated on an external red tracer that is located on the bonnet and bed sides. The interior of the Mopar Jeep Gladiator Rubicon will also require some modifications. These will include the addition of unique two-tone Katzkin leather seats with surfaces that are maraschino red and black and include embossed Omega M Mopar emblems. Along with the armrests and seat bolsters, the center console is likewise Maraschino crimson, matching the instrument panel, seats, and steering wheel accent stitching. Finally, a unique, serialized Mopar ’24 badge is located directly behind the gear shifter.
There are a few more noteworthy features for the outside and inside, like parts that are directly from the catalog. A triple-hoop grille guard, a three-piece, body-color roof, a tri-fold hard tonneau cover, a spray-on bedliner, grab handles on the front and rear, and a unique Mopar insignia on the tailgate are other exterior features. Mopar heavy-duty rock rails with step help are also included. Customers will also discover all-weather floor mats, a black sill trim, and a Mopar headliner inside. In the end, the Mopar ’24 Gladiator is equipped with Falken all-terrain tires and standard 17-inch aluminum wheels with painted black pockets. The 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine, with 285 horsepower, powers the entire drivetrain.
A truly limited production, and only built for the U.S. market, a total of 250 units are set to be produced. Starting at $70,295 (plus destination fee), the exclusive Mopar ’24 Jeep Gladiator is already hitting dealership lots.
