Ford Ranger could see redesign soon

A redesign for the Ford Ranger pickup truck is currently on its way to the Australian market, but don’t be discouraged. This reworked model is also a precursor to the Ranger coming to the United States soon. This mid-size truck is a favorite among Ford buyers who want to get behind the wheel of a truck that is the perfect balance between big and small. The ranger offers the perfect combination of fuel efficiency, horsepower, and towing capacity. The Australian-spec Ford Ranger is currently being tested and showcased by Ford, the only downside is that it is in pre-production masking vinyl that hides its visual characteristics. Ford’s teaser trailer shows just how powerful the redesigned truck is, leaving viewers even more curious about what’s underneath its camouflage.

A Next-Generation Ford Ranger

Ford currently sells the US-spec Ranger at a starting price of $25,070 MSRP for the base model and a global version that varies slightly in design but is sold in several international markets, including Australia. Most automakers competing against one another on a global scale offer different versions of the same model in order to meet the same standards and regulations of other countries. However, Ford is all for keeping the same high-quality design regardless of the market it is being sold in. The new Ranger is expected to have a new front fascia design and a reworked rear, as well as upgrades to its interior.

What’s Coming to the U.S. Market?

We can guarantee that the current U.S.-spec Ranger will be revamped and feature improved technology and design. It is hard to tell when exactly that will happen or when its debut will be, but in the meantime, all eyes are set on the camouflaged Ford Ranger, as mentioned above. We can expect more information to trickle in during the next couple of weeks.

What Will It Look Like?

Ford Australia will reveal more details concerning its interior features, exterior design, and technical information such as engine, performance, etc. We do know that the new Ford Ranger will feature new boomerang-like LED headlights with thin light strips on the edges. Although the F-150 is Ford Motor Company’s best-selling pickup truck, it can be too large and expensive at the upper trim levels. Those looking for a more affordable option find the Ranger to be an ideal choice.
