National Pet Day is around the corner, and to ring in the special celebration, Chrysler has a couple of tricks up their sleeves to honor our four-legged, furry family members with some family-friendly features in its mighty popular Chrysler Pacifica.
The Pacifica is no stranger to success, as it is the most awarded minivan over the past five years. In 2020, the Chrysler Pacifica earned a spot on Autotrader’s 10 Best Cars for Dog Lovers list.
Since its launch as a minivan, the Pacifica has amassed over 140 honors and industry awards!
To celebrate the feline and wooftastic extensions of many families, pet parents can celebrate their four-legged friends in style with these five features on the all-new 2021 Chrysler Pacifica.
The Features
Hands-Free Sliding Doors and Liftgate
- Starting with one of the most important features of any minivan are its hands-free features. On the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica, pet parents can expect an easy transition from closed to open doors with a simple kick wave underneath the car. Sensors will pick up the movement and seamlessly open the trunk or passenger doors without the need to juggle for keys. Are your hands full with your pet? Fear no more with this cool feature.
Stow ‘n Vac
- Sometimes messes can’t wait. What better way to make it convenient to clean up your four-legged friend’s mess than with a built-in vacuum system? No matter the size of the mess, the Pacifica has drivers covered with easy use and storage of the onboard Stow ‘n Vac.
Stow ‘n Go Features
- Bringing not one but two separate features in the Stow ‘n Go series with the In-Floor Storage Bins and Seating. The In-Floor Storage Bins allow for owners to store food, toys, and accessories in the second-row floorboards to keep the mess of objects out of sight and provide more space for passengers. Next is the seating. With Stow ‘n Go Seating, drivers can expand the cargo space in the trunk area by folding down the second-and-third-row seats to optimize storage. This feature is perfect for larger kennels or for overall pet space when on the go.
FamCAM Interior Camera
- Backup cameras are cool and all—but then there’s the interior FamCAM. New on the 2021 Pacifica, the driver and front-seat passenger can see what their pets are doing in the rear of the minivan thanks to the interior camera. A zoom feature is also available and can be used in any situation, whether monitoring the kids or pets.
2021 Chrysler Pacifica
The redesigned Pacifica comes with more than what was highlighted here. Designed with a more athletic, refined, and modern exterior, this minivan clashes the world of style and family comfort into one package. With features such as class-leading family entertainment, rear-seat Uconnect Theatre add-on availability, and the all-new Uconnect 5 infotainment system, this minivan has it all.
With Uconnect 5, riders can enjoy the largest touchscreen in its class, Amazon Alexa connectivity, and system speeds five times faster than the version before it. The vehicle also comes equipped with multiple USB Type C ports that will charge eligible devices up to four times faster than regular ports.
If the base model isn’t enough, check out the top-of-the-line Pinnacle trim. This trim offers all standard features and quilted Nappa Caramel leather upholstery, with matching second-and-third-row lumbar comfort pillows—a minivan first.
