Ward’s annual “10 Best Interior & UX competition” recently announced that the 2022 Volkswagen Golf GTI made it into the list. The 10 Best Interiors list analyzes refined and new vehicle interiors plus their user-experience technology. Scoring consists of various different benchmarks such as aesthetics and design, materials, comfort, infotainment and connectivity, controls and display, and advanced driver systems and values.

For 2022, Ward studied ten vehicles, and nine came close to the Volkswagen GTI’s appeal. Those other nine vehicles that make up the Ward 10 Best Interiors list include the Ford Maverick, BMW iX, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Genesis G70, Kia EV6, Mercedes-Benz EQS, Lucid Air, Rivian R1T, and the Toyota Tundra. The WardsAuto ceremony will commence at the Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Michigan, during the WardsAuto Interiors & UX Conference on June 8 through June 9, 2022.
Back to take over the redesigned segment, the VW Golf GTI premieres an array of interior customization with new features, premium materials, and a brand new electronic architecture. The 2022 model also offers heated front sports seats. The new sports seats pay homage to the first Golf GTI because of its unique ergonomic design, blended head restraints, red stitching, and standard black and grey tartan “Scalepaper” fabric located on the backrest and seat area.
