Technology is at the forefront of virtually everything we use in our everyday lives. Whether it’s our smartphones, tablets, computers or mobile payment processing, tech is intertwined at every corner. It’s also becoming increasingly important to have the most updated technology and advanced systems in our vehicles to maximize fuel efficiency and safety.

With that being said, the choice has also become increasingly harder for car buyers in the market because of the constantly evolving landscape. Features such as infotainment screen size, functionality, apps, and connectivity could make or break the choice between one vehicle or the other.

But to make that process a bit easier for prospective buyers, Driver’s Auto Mart has created a short list of some of the most innovative and enticing infotainment systems in the automotive market. Here Are 5 High-Level Infotainment Systems any car buyer should consider.

Ford Sync

Starting off their list is Ford Sync. The American automaker is known famously for the Mustang and the F-150 pickup truck but also has a pretty sweet infotainment system. Think of a smartphone with services like navigation, weather, traffic, maps, and more but in a car. Sync 4 provides drivers with a reliable and engaging system that is easy to use and hands-free thanks to its voice command system. Simple but also efficient.

Volvo Sensus

Next on Driver’s Auto Mart list is Volvo’s Sensus system. An infotainment system that can connect with Pandora and Spotify and is also accessible through a touchscreen display, this system is eye-catching. Riders can access a slew of features such as climate control and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, navigation, internet, and phone services. An innovative and exciting approach that is also user-friendly.

Kia UVO

This South Korean automaker breeds reliability and simplicity. While the UVO system isn’t made to wow drivers with fancy displays or complicated menus, it is incredibly responsive. Across the Kia lineup, the largest available screen is a 12.3-inch display on the Kia K900 with smaller sizes across its other vehicles. Not every car in the lineup supports Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, but the maker sure knows its easy-to-use navigation system will entice potential customers.

Fiat Chrysler’s Uconnect

This brand is known for its award-winning Chrysler Pacifica, Ram trucks, Jeep Wranglers, and much more. It also wants buyers to know it doesn’t play games when it comes to the in-car experience… unless it’s with Uconnect. Used across the fleet, Uconnect brings the passengers closer to the driving experience thanks to advanced technology and connectivity with Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and varying display sizes with touchscreen capabilities.

The system adapts to every car across the lineup and offers “Off-Road Pages,” which affords drivers the ability to access a menu of controls spanning climate control, heating seats, sound control, screen lighting, gearing, and more. If drivers are so lucky to have an SRT model vehicle, there are “Performance Pages” which give drivers all the control to choose their driving modes and information such as lap times.

Mercedes-Benz MBUX

This is a luxury-class crowd pleaser. Mercedes-Benz makes sure drivers have all the bells and whistles with its MBUX infotainment system. The most important feature is the User’s Experience, or MBUX, which is known for exceptional voice commands, digital assistant, and hand gestures.

The system also performs some functions through augmented reality, such as navigation. Drivers also have the ability to customize their gauges and choose themes in the system using touchscreen gestures and steering wheel dials.

Additional assistance from Google, Amazon, and Apple are also available.

Driver’s Auto Mart

These top five systems are all available at Driver’s Auto Mart. The store sells a wide range of pre-owned cars that are modern and affordable.

Those who are interested in any of the vehicles can easily access an online pre-owned inventory and chat with a representative for further assistance.
